Baratza is revolutionizing home milling! Improved over the last 8 years, the methodology fuses simplicity, efficiency and durability into an even better grinding experience. The Sette 270 espresso grinder offers exceptionally precise grinding settings not only for espresso preparation, but also for a variety of different hand brewing methods.

Grinding level setting

The Sette 270 offers a 30-level macro adjustment and a stepless micro adjustment based on 9 indicators for even more control. Basically we choose the grind size with the macro dial and then adjust the micro setting to make our recipe as excellent as possible. A large selection of grinding degree options allows the preparation of delicious espressos, but also hand brews or pourings such as drip brews, Aeropress or Chemex.

Structure and operation

The grinder is equipped with a Control panel equipped with 3 buttons and an LCD screen. We can easily program our dose to within 0.1g. After setting the dose, we simply press the START button and the grinder will automatically start distributing the desired amount.

A universal holder is another useful feature. We can attach the portafilter or one of the most popular brewing devices (v60) while the grinder is running. Grinding directly into devices makes working with Sette 270 faster and more pleasant.

The grinder itself looks modern and is compact, with metal and plastic elements. Thanks to its dimensions, the Sette 270W fits on any kitchen counter and even in the narrowest brew group in a coffee shop.
