Why Moccamaster?

"Life is too short to drink bad coffee" – with this philosophy, Gerard Clement Smith founded Technivorm, the manufacturer of the Moccamaster, in 1964. Four years later, he developed the first model of this type. To this day, these coffee machines remain among the most popular filter coffee machines on the market. In addition to the various models for the home kitchen, theKBG Select,KBGTand theCup-oneNumerous professional machines are also available for offices, restaurants and hotels.

Moccamaster KBG Select Kaffeemaschine Yellow Pepper

Aromatic coffee thanks to optimized brewing process

Moccamaster machines have been handcrafted in the Netherlands since 1968. Sustainability and quality are a top priority during production, meaning only high-quality, sustainable, and recyclable materials are used. This ensures that all models are impressively long-lasting. The manufacturer also offers a five-year warranty on all Moccamaster coffee machines. The machines are also certified by the European Coffee Organization (ECBC) and recognized by the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA).
The copper heating element also provides the perfect solution for the optimal brewing temperature. This special heating element ensures that a temperature between 92 and 96°C is reached during the brewing process. This temperature range was chosen so that the coffee tastes neither sour nor bitter, but rather you receive a particularly aromatic cup of coffee. Thanks to the special 9-hole spout, the water is optimally distributed over the coffee grounds, ensuring a brewing result similar to that of a hand-filtered coffee. This modelKBG SelectYou can also easily choose between a full and half pot using the selector switch. This selection is important because the brewing time is slower with a half pot than with a full pot. This guarantees the best brewing results and a particularly full-bodied, aromatic taste, whether you're brewing four or ten cups of coffee.
