The Cotecho Gunpowder Green Tea is a pure Ceylon green tea from Sri Lanka and the right choice for anyone who wants to enjoy their green tea in a classic way without added flavorings.

Gunpowder tea is traditionally characterized by its tea leaves rolled into small, compact pellets. When steeped, the leaves unfurl and release their characteristic green tea flavor into the water.

The individual portions are contained in pyramid tea bags, which give the tea sufficient room while steeping. Each bag contains 2 g of green tea and is individually foil-wrapped. This means the tea is already perfectly portioned and is suitable for use at home, in the office, in the catering industry, or on the go.

For preparation, place one pyramid tea bag in a cup, pour over approximately 80 °C hot water, and let it steep for about 3 minutes. Then, remove the bag and enjoy the green tea.

One pack contains 20 individually foil-wrapped pyramid tea bags with a total of 40 g of green tea. The tea is packaged in Sri Lanka.
