The unique microclimate, shaped by the proximity to the Irazú volcano as well as the ocean, encourages a particularly slow maturation of the coffee cherries and ensures exceptional aromatic density. During the harvest, weeds are removed exclusively by hand; pesticides and fertilizers are completely avoided.
